Marc Camille Chaimowicz was very shy when I approached him and wished to be represented in a way that meant he could barely be visible. I tried and failed to cast him in glass as he had first suggested. Glass is a very difficult material to work with on this scale and so I cast him next in plaster of Paris. His bust is intended to be positioned against a white background so that a ghostly impression of the sitter is created. He has recently had major museum survey shows in Germany, France, Holland and Belgium.
